My Best Guess

I enjoy speculating...my guess is that John Mayer will play the Marcus Amphitheater at Summerfest in Milwaukee Summer 2007. His tour takes him through the Midwest, with a few holes during Summerfest's run. I missed his show at the Kohl Center in Madison on Valentine's Day. I heard it was great! (see review at madison.com)

Who else can we expect?

The Van Halen tour is now no longer. Seems the boys just can't get along...

Wishful thinking has The Police adding a Milwaukee date.

Roger Waters to headline Summerfest July 2!

No longer a rumor, Roger Waters, co-founder of Pink Floyd, will headline the Marcus Amphitheatre show at Summerfest on July 2, 2007! The second set of the show will feature Dark Side of the Moon in it's entirety. After seeing this show last fall in Chicago at Tinely Park or whatever it's called now, I can sincerely say that this is a CANNOT miss show.

Tickets for the show are going to go fast. I got mine for the Chicago show from Ticket King right away- the ticket price was fair and the transaction was easy. Tickets for Roger Waters at Summerfest will include the admission to the grounds as well, so you don't have to buy that $14 ticket in addition to the concert ticket.

SEE YOU ON THE 2nd of JULY!!!! For those who can't make it to the greatest city by the greatest lake in July- I will wish you were here!

Gotta Band? Wanna Play the World's Largest Music Festival?

Obviously it takes more than Billboard's top acts to fill the Summerfest grounds for the 10 days of action at Milwaukee's lakefront.

Summerfest is celebrating it's 40th year this year! Come to Milwaukee between June 28-July 8, 2007 and you will not be disappointed!

2007 Summerfest

Waiting for the Milwaukee Summerfest line-up to fill up, is like waiting for water to boil. Taking a peak around the web, it looks like Asia and Foreigner are the only other acts noted for side stage action, with Toby Keith being the only headliner confirmed for the Marcus Amphitheatre.

Let's hope for, oh I don't know, something other than country acts and "supergroups" from 1981.

Summerfest Update - Milwaukee, WI

Here we are in early 2007 - and folks, we have a Summerfest show announcement - none other than Toby Keith who will close Summefest in Milwaukee on July 8, 2007 at the Marcus Amphitheater.

From here it's conjecture...Van Halen with David Lee Roth and The Police reunion tour seem to be tops on the radar.

Regardless of your taste, there is usually a headliner which is appealing. If you find yourself needing tickets, I would check out Ticket King in Milwaukee (home of Summerfest). Their office is almost walking distance from the Summerfest grounds and the people there are super nice and informative....even when it's Toby Keith you want to see (just kidding!)
