Luke Bryan Plays Summerfest 2013 July 3

Luke Bryan Summerfest 2013
Luke Bryan will play the Marcus Amphitheater on July 3, at Summerfest 2013. He's backed up by Thompson Square and Florida Georgia Line.  Bryan will be touring to support his "Spring Break" album that came out this past March.  What Bryan is best known for is the 2012 hit song I Don't Want This Night To End. In that same year, he swept the American Country Music Awards. He won album of the year for "Tailgates and Tanlines."

Bryan first hit the music scene with his 2007 work, titled I'll Stay Me. This came to be right after finishing up work for the very famous Travis Tritt.  He was pegged as a "Honky Tonk" song writer, but that didn't stop him from working hard to achieve success.  Luke Bryan has certainly written his share of drinking songs.  His Spring Break 2 EP contained three different songs about drinking.

Bryan would go on to headline his own mega-tour back in 2012. He hit nearly two dozen cities on a tour that covered most the winter months. His 2013 tour starts May 17 in Virginia Beach.  He's booked all the way through October.

Tim McGraw Summerfest 2013 | Brantley Gilbert To Open For McGraw

Tim McGraw Summerfest 2013
Tim McGraw is coming to Summerfest 2013.  He's bringing along Brantly Gilbert and Love & Theft. This show is set for July 5.  Is Tim McGraw one of the biggest country stars of the past decade? Yes. In fact, he ranks in the top five for sales of country music. Nearly a dozen chart topping albums are credited to Mr. MrGraw. From his humble beginnings back in Louisiana, he had a competitive streak. That drive helped him succeed in music.

It all started 21 years back, when he was signed to Curb Records.  The song was called Welcome to the Club, and it happened to chart. The next disk went gold, and Tim McGraw was destined to be a country star. Don't Take the Girl was the song that he road to success. The awards came soon after, and McGraw never looked back.

By the year 2000, McGraw put out a greatest hits disk.  After all, he had sold nearly 20 million copies of the first six disks! The tour to support that album was one of the highest grossing endeavors for a country star. Tim McGraw has even tried his hand at acting. He's had minor roles in movies and television.

Bradley Gilbert Summerfest

Brantley Gilbert will open the Tim McGraw show.  Gilbert started playing music at the ripe old age of 13. Being a reckless teenager, Gilbert's wake up call came just six years later.  He dedicated his energies to music, and it paid off. His "Halfway to Heaven" disk has gone "gold."

Pitbull To Headline Summerfest 2013 | Pitbull Tickets Available

Pitbull Summerfest 2013
Pitbull will headline Summerfest 2013 on June 30.  His real name is Armando Perez, and he's the hottest rapper on the road at this time.  His "Planet Pit" album is his biggest release to date.  He starts his 2013 tour in Boston, on May 23.  What was Pitbull's breakout hit? "I Know You Want Me" was a huge success, even though he was forced to release the song on a record label more known for dance music.  Perhaps that was just the dumb luck needed to propel Pitbull further than before.

Pitbull Tickets On Sale Now

Pitbull Summerfest tickets also include admission to the entire festival grounds.  That's the great thing about Summerfest headline tickets.  When you go, plan to check out the other stages.  The side stage headline acts are locked in.  It looks like Summerfest booked a range of talent that runs from new to old.  The specific dates of the side stage headline shows have yet to be announced.  Opening acts for those side stages are still being booked.

Summerfest 2013 Features Violent Femmes With Avett Brothers

Summerfest Violent Femmes 2013
Milwaukee favorites, The Violent Femmes will be headlining the Marcus Amphitheater on June 26. Alson on the bill are The Avett Brothers. That's not all.  Also playing that date are Ivan and Alyosha with Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. Summerfest wants to make sure that you get your money's worth that evening.

The Femmes are playing just and handful of festivals this year.  The band reunited for Coachella, the weekend festival that just wrapped up.  They will also play Bottle Rock Festival, and Summerfest 2013. Seeing that The Femmes usually reunite for a side stage show at Summerfest, this night will be special.  They hope for a big turnout, seeing that they haven't performed in a 22,000 seat venue in many years.

Sharing the spotlight with the Femmes will be the Avett Brothers.  The Avett Brothers have been supporting their latest album, titled The Carpenter.  That's album number seven for these Indie Folk rockers.  As opposed to the Femmes, the Avett Brothers are a working band that continues to tour and create new music. The grouping of the old and the new will surely make it a great evening of music.

Fun Comes To Summerfest 2013 | Tegan and Sara Share Bill That Night

Fun Summerfest 2013
Fun will play the Marcus Amphitheater on June 27.  Last year, this band was a Miller Lite stage headliner.  This time, they hope to fill the 20,000 seat Marcus.  In order to do that, Tegan and Sara will open the show.  Together, these bands make up what could certainly be called "Indie Night" at the Lakefront.  What's their hit song you say?  It's a little number titled "We Are Young." Funny that their lead singer is pushing 32.  That's not Justin Bieber "young."  In fact, the entire band is either about to turn 30, or have pushed past it.  No matter, the band is literally fun to watch.

Tegan And Sara On Tour With Fun

Tegan and Sara have been in the music business for 13 years now.  They started performing while in high school, and got picked up by a small label in 2000.  Their third effort, titled If It Was Like You, sold just under 20,000 copies, and their forth disk went Gold.  Since then, the band has managed to grab a top ten spot on the Canadian charts over the past three years.  Their latest work, Heartthrob has gone number one on the American "Alternative" charts, along with the US "Rock" charts.  This might be the big one for Tegan and Sara.  The disk has been out for just seven weeks, and will most likely break their current sales record. Perhaps it's the pop flavor of this disk that is giving sales a huge boost.
