Stevie Wonder Comes To Summerfest 2015 | Wonder Will Sing Entire "Songs" Album

Stevie Wonder Summerfest 2015
Stevie Wonder has been booked for June 27, at Summerfest. This show is not part of a multi-city tour for Wonder.  It's a single show listed for Milwaukee, as the "tour" Wonder had booked for 2015 ended in April. He plans to sing the entire album "Songs in the Key of Life" on this occasion.  Stevie Wonder Summerfest tickets have already gone on sale.

Songs in the Key of Life was an album that came out in 1976.  It's a double album, spanning over eighty minutes. It came out on the Motown label, and included songs like Another Star, Sir Duke, I Wish. The album hit number one in the United States, France, Holland, and Canada. It was also a huge hit in England, Australia, Norway, and many more countries.

So many great artists have noted that the "Songs" album is one of the best ever made. Stars such as Elton John, Michael Jackson, George Micheal, and Mary J. Blige have all covered songs from the work.

Neil Young Plays Summerfest July 5 2015 with Promise of the Real

Neil-Young-Summerfest-2015
Neil Young will kick off his summer tour at Summerfest 2015, on July 5. He’s teamed up with Promise of the Real, a much younger group of musicians headed up by Lukas and Micah Nelson (Willie Nelson’s children.) Tickets for the show are available after May 1. Young fans should prepare themselves for a lot of new music on this tour, as Neil isn’t one to rely upon his well worn hit songs to entertain the masses. His new album is titled The Monsanto Years, and one can guess that it’s not a tribute to the chemical company and their practices.

Judging by the song titles on the new album, he’s not just digging on Monsanto. “Rock Starbucks and Too Big to Fail” are just two examples of his current thoughts. Yes, Neil Young came into being during the free-wheeling 1960’s, but he’s never been one to allow himself to be pegged.  The album title “Rust Never Sleeps” was coined during a collaborative effort with the new wave band DEVO. Later in his career, Young took a page from the “Alternative” music scene when he released Keep on Rockin’ in the Free World. There have been times when his fans have walked out of his concerts, seemingly offended by what Neil had to say about one thing or another.  Young was a founding member of Benefit for Farm Aid, and Bridge School.  He’s always fought for the sake of the earth, the land, and children with disabilities.

Neil Young found success first with Buffalo Springfield, then as part of Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young. One must not forget his solo work. He took a long break between the years 2003, and 2012, but came roaring back with the album “Americana.” That disk covered reworked versions of famous American folk songs like “Oh Suzanna.”  Neil turns 70 this year, and his 2015 tour is comprised of just twelve shows.

Rolling Stones Summerfest 2015 | Zip Code Tour Stops In Milwaukee

Rolling Stones Tickets
The Rolling Stones will open Summerfest 2015 on June 23. This is one "Big Bang" of a concert announcement. They are adding a day to the ten day festival, so to speak. The Stones will perform at the Marcus Amphitheater, with additional entertainment to grace additional stages, set up just for this event. The entire festival grounds will not be active, that's all going to start the next day.

The Rolling Stones are performing in cities that they missed on their last tour.  You won't see them in Chicago, New York, or Los Angeles. On top of that, the Marcus Amp. will be one of the smallest venues on this tour.  We got lucky.  The band is calling it their "Zip Code" tour. It starts on May 24 at Petco Park in San Diego. The final show on the tour will be in Quebec on July 15.  Stones tickets for the Milwaukee show will be going fast.
