Brewers Team Up with Summerfest

The Milwaukee Brewers are offering a sweet deal combining a Brewers ticket with a Summerfest admission ticket for just $20. Brewers fans will get a ticket to one of the three Interleague games against the Toronto Blue Jays June 17-19, 2008 and then the admission ticket to Summerfest would be valid any one of the days of the run, June 26-July 6. The ticket packages are available through the Miller Park Box Office. I thought in years past there were cute t-shirts they made available too. Add the t-shirt and count me in.

As the Brewers sit 6 behind the Chicago Cubs, this series could be pivotal. And as I sit waiting for the gates to Summerfest to open and feed me yummy food and cold beer, I will take advantage of any ticket deals around this summer.

Brewers and Summerfest Team Up to Save You Money!

Want to check out two of Milwaukee's "best", Summerfest and the Milwaukee Brewers?

With Summerfest celebrating it's 40th Anniversary and the Milwaukee Brewers celebrating their 25th Anniversary of their 1982 American League championship, the two entities are coming together with a special offer for folks coming to Milwaukee, or certainly for those living here too!

The Houston Astros will be playing the Milwaukee Brewers at Miller Park during Summerfest's 2007 run. People can buy a ticket to one of the three games for $25 and receive a free Summerfest admission ticket, valid for any day of Summerfest, as well as a special-edition "Smile-On" t-shirt.

You need to call the Milwaukee Brewers' ticket office to take advantage of this deal.

Visiting Milwaukee during Summerfest?

If you are going to visit Milwaukee during Summerfest, you will have plenty of fun checking out the bands there, but there is always other stuff to check out around the city too....I would take a look at http://www.onmilwaukee.com/ for an easy look at new bars, restaurants in Milwaukee etc.

Unlike last year when the Chicago Cubs were in town to play the Milwaukee Brewers during Summerfest's run; the Brewers are on the road for the 11 days of Summerfest. You could make a road trip down to the Windy City and see the now 2-0 Brew Crew beat up on the Cubbys at Wrigley?

You only have to wait 85 days, 2 hours and 58 minutes for the Summerfest gates to swing open.
