Yes, on July 5th, the New Jersey rock band Bon Jovi will take the Marcus Amphitheater stage to a crowd of Milwaukeeans who NEVER tire of hits like, "Runaway", "It's My Life", "I'll be There for You" and my personal favorite, "Wanted Dead or Alive" - check that - my favorite has to be "Bad Medicine"...it's what I need. Oh Oh Oh....There ain't no doctor that can cure my disease.
In all actuality, it will be a big show for Summerfest, which in turn is a good thing for the city - so bring on the hairspray and the mom-jeans. Under the category of sharing more than I would like to about myself, I will disclose that in Season 15 of MTV's "The Real World", Jon Bon Jovi hired the kids to work for him and his team the Philadelphia Soul and he sure came across as a super guy - a do-gooder, if you will.
