The next disk went gold, and Tim McGraw was destined to be a country star. Don't Take the Girl was the song that he road to success. The awards came soon after, and McGraw never looked back.
By the year 2000, McGraw put out a greatest hits disk. After all, he had sold nearly 20 million copies of the first six disks! The tour to support that album was one of the highest grossing endeavors for a country star. Tim McGraw has even tried his hand at acting. He's had minor roles in movies and television.
